Introduction
Dr Shum is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Mahkota Medical Centre, Melaka with more than 24 years of experience in treating cancer patients. He is trained and practised in Tri-Service General Hospital & Jen-Ai Hospital, Taiwan for more than 15 years. He has published various papers and obtained his Master Degree in Medical Science in 2010. He is appointed as the Chief of the Oncology Department, Jen-Ai Hospital before he came back to Malaysia in 2012.
His areas of expertise include diagnosis and management of all kinds of cancer (solid tumour), especially in breast cancer, lung cancer and colon cancer. The main procedures performed are radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy.
