Introduction
Dr Qua is a consultant at Mahkota MC with more than 15 years of experience in treating patients for general medicine, liver and digestive diseases. His areas of expertise include diagnosis and management of all kinds of gastrointestinal and liver diseases including dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hepatitis B and C, liver cancer etc.
He also has a special interest in basic sciences and disease epidemiology and has 13 publications to date. He was one of the winners for Young Investigator Award (2005 GUT).
