Dr Chong is a consultant at Mahkota Medical Centre with more than 20 years of experience in treating a wide spectrum of adult solid tumours. His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of all types of cancer especially breast, lung, intestines, head & neck and the genito-urinary. He is also the Head of Oncologist in Mahkota Cancer Centre since 2001 whereby he has introduced various advanced cancer treatments that benefited both local and international patients.

Previously, he was a health columnist of a Chinese magazine and has authored a book in Chinese about issues encountered at a cancer clinic. He is also the medical advisor of the Malaysian Guo Lin Qi Gong Society.
