Dr Azali is a consultant at Mahkota Medical Centre with more than 15 years of experience in treating patients with general and colorectal issues. His areas of expertise include diagnosis and management of all kinds of general and colorectal diseases. Other diseases treated include benign colorectal problems, colonic diverticular disease, surgery for inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Ano-rectal conditions for instance haemorrhoidal diseases, anal fistula, anal fissure, anal sphincter injury, rectovaginal fistula, anorectal prolapse.

As part of clinical practice, Dr Azali also contributed to clinical research, he has published numerous clinical papers and has been presented in both local and international conferences. He has been involved as a speaker, facilitator and organizer in several surgical workshops for sharing, teaching and updating current knowledge and skill to improve health care awareness.
